This grove is prominently located in one of Austin's most beautiful and most utilized outdoor areas, Town Lake Trail.

Like much of the other bamboo around Austin it has been neglected and abused for years.  

Devoted volunteers and cooperation between organizations have already made substantial improvement in it's appearance

The pay back for the effort put forth in getting it into shape is cashed in everyday for the hundreds of Austin's running, walking, and biking public.
